Ladies secure status

The 1st ladies made sure of their division 1 status with a great 6-3 victory against Forest 2. All 3 pairs sharing the spoils with 2 rubbers each.
It brings to an end a tough season for the top ladies, who have had to reshuffle for one reason or another.
On Wednesday night (12th) the 1st Men's played their penultimate match in the premier division. Missing Matt Haigh, James Bass was promoted from the second team to partner Andy Tyas. They had a good evening taking a game off all 3 pairs.
No such luck for Andy and Ian who had an evening to forget. The stars were Craig and Steve who won 2 of 3, including a victory over Brooks and Chakrivarti.
So a 7-2 defeat, but a few positives to take.
