Defeat for the first men's

Back in the Premier division for the first time in 3 years, the first mens started on familiar territory at Ravenshead against a changing Byron.
With Lee Jackson out until at least the new year, Andy Tyas and Matt Haigh teamed up.
Famously slow starters it was no different on this occasion. Craig and Steve were the best performing pair, despite only taking 1 rubber. Ian and Andy took 2 rubbers but were poor in the first. Matt and Andy took two of their rubbbers to three but disappointingly had nothing to show for it.
